The best way to see if IMS is a good fit for you is to visit us during a school day. You’ll get to walk the halls, attend class and meet some of the people who make IMS more than a school. You’re invited to visit us on one of our official visit days (a great chance to meet some future classmates) or contact us to set up a personalized visit day that works for you. If you have questions about any upcoming events or about IMS, please contact Candi at 319-656-2073 or email@example.com.
Prospective Family Night
The next opportunity to visit campus will be Prospective Family Night on Tuesday, March 4th from 6:00-8:00 PM. This will be an interactive open house that will give prospective families a chance to meet faculty, administrators and current families as well as tour the school and get information on applying to IMS, Variable Tuition, extracurricular opportunities and more! You can get more details and register to attend at Prosepctive Family Night Registration.
Visit Day/Bring-A-Friend Day Registration
Due to the weather disrupting some of our visit day activities this semester, we are combining a Visit Day with our planned Bring-A-Friend Day event. Students in 7th-11th grade are invited to attend IMS on Tuesday, March 19th. We are having an optional informational meeting, for any parents who are interested, with our administrative team from 8:15-9:00 AM. Come for coffee and visit with the administrative team to get information & ask questions. The day for students will be from 8:10 AM – 3:15 PM. Tour facilities, visit classes with a host student, eat lunch, meet faculty & other future students. If this date doesn’t work for you to visit, please call to set up a personal visit day. Please call Candi at the school with any questions. 319-656-2073 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Personal Visit Day Sign Up
If you are considering attending IMS for 9-12th grade, we recommend that you visit campus first to see if we are a good fit for you. If our official visit days don’t work for you, you can request a personal visit day by filling out the form below. Then our director of enrollment, Candi Schmieder, will be in touch with you to set up a day & time. For visit days, we usually have you shadow another student for the day so you can see what classes are like. We also treat you to lunch.
First semester visit days are open to transfer students, 7th graders and 8th graders. Second semester visit days are open to transfer students and 8th graders. These days will involve shadowing a current student. There will also be a coffee time at the beginning of the day available for parents to meet with our administrative team.

First Look Fridays
First Look Fridays are new open house events for transfer students and/or their parents and 7th-8th grade students and/or their parents. These will be held the first Friday of every month and are designed to be days you can drop in for a tour and see classes, chapel, etc. in action. These are not shadow days, but rather a chance for us to introduce ourselves to you and to see if you’d like to come back for a Visit Day to shadow a student.
November 2nd will be our first one. Then the dates will be December 7th, January 4th, February 1st, March 1st, April 5th, and May 3rd.
In addition to official visit days, we have activities geared to potential future students of IMS. They’re fun out-of-school events so you can start making friends and getting a taste of the IMS experience. Check out the whole list of planned events for 2018-19.
