The Culinary Kids Camp went well again this year with 16 campers in attendance and all kinds of delicious food prepared! The class was focused on healthy eating, and the basics of nutrition based around MyPlate and the five food groups. Each day, students learned about a certain food group and then prepared recipes that were based around that food group. In addition, students complied their own personal recipe book that they can add to as they continue their culinary adventures! To conclude the week, students prepared a few healthy snack recipes to share with their families and enjoyed an evening celebrating a week of learning along with the art and writing campers.
