Students from Karen Van de Walle’s Soil and Conservation class plus other invited students with experience in soil judging went to Lake Hamilton Wednesday for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) sponsored Soil Judging Contest. The students determine the type of soil and it’s uses for agricultural and developmental uses.
