Iowa Mennonite School is searching for a candidate to join our Science Department for the 2018-2019 school year. The ideal faculty member would have their Iowa Licensure with endorsements in Secondary Physics and Secondary Chemistry, other endorsement areas are a great asset as well. Additionally, the position calls for teaching Advanced Placement classes. This full time position also includes other responsibilities consistent with other faculty members.
The candidate would be available to start on August 2018, be certified in areas listed (whether permanent or temp – but working towards), be involved in a local church community (or be searching for a church community).
Business Instructor / Technology Specialist
Iowa Mennonite School is looking for a dynamic individual to join our 21st Century Skills department! The position calls for teaching students in business, accounting, and other classes related to business curriculum. Additionally, there may be consideration for coding, and possibly robotics. For teaching load the candidate must hold a valid Iowa Teacher’s License and hold a 5-12 Business and CTE Endorsement (or be working towards that). Additionally, the position may possibly include working with the school’s website, network, evaluating hardware/software and other tech issues as well as managing building rental. Depending on skills the candidate can present, the position may be considered full time. Affordable housing may also be available.
Iowa Mennonite School is searching for a dynamic Music Instructor to conduct our choirs as well as our symphonic band for the 2018 – 2019 school year. Candidates must hold Iowa Licensure in high school music. Candidates would also be assigned other tasks similar to other faculty members. On-campus housing in the form of an apartment may be available if it is needed.
