Science Instructor

Iowa Mennonite School is searching for a candidate to join our Science Department for the 2017-2018 school year.  The ideal faculty member would have their Iowa Licensure with endorsements in Secondary Physics and Secondary Chemistry, other endorsement areas are a great asset as well. Additionally, the position calls for teaching Advanced Placement classes.  This full time position also includes other responsibilities consistent with other faculty members.

Ag Instructor/FFA Advisor
Responsibilities include:
-Plant Science
-Small Engines/Welding
-Ag Precision Technology
-Ag Projects (could be Woods, Mechanics, other)
-Ag Business
-CASE-AFNR
-Ag Construction
-Leading our FFA program

The candidate would be available to start on August 23, 2017, be certified in areas listed (whether permanent or temp – but working towards), be involved in a local church community (or be searching for a church community).

Applicants should also be able to support the Confession of Faith from a Mennonite Perspective as well as the Mission Statement and Core Values of IMS. We do have housing available on campus in the form of a one-bedroom apartment that may be available if it is needed.
