Gathering information, taking photos, and capturing the history of the 2011-12 school year keeps the six students on the Reverie staff hopping! Add in creating a theme, designing and laying out pages, writing captions and features, and a good measure of laughter, and a clear picture of the staff and its responsibility develops.

Yearbook class is an elective that meets 7th hour daily. Mary Forney advises the staff.

The 2010-11 Reverie staff leaped for joy on a recent photo shoot: Carlie Bender, Mischa De Jesus, Jess Miller, Meredith Schrock, Aliese Gingerich, and Kara Schlabaugh.

Since the beginning of school, work on the 2011 Reverie has happened daily during 8th period. The six staff members, led by editor Kara Schlabaugh, agreed upon a design theme and now design pages, interview students, take photos, and work as a team to capture the memories of the year for posterity. “Watching the girls collaborate over designs and ideas makes the word ‘teamwork’ come to life. Kara Schlabaugh, staff member from 2008-09 and current Reverie editor holds copies of both the Gotcha Covered Look Book and the award winning Reverie.

Congratulations to the REVERIE staff from 2008-09 for their award-winning cover art. Our book was chosen from the more than 3,000 yearbooks submitted for consideration to the Jostens yearbook competition. Approximately 520 books were selected for inclusion in the company’s Gotcha Covered Look Book, a sampling of the best of the best in yearbook design. The cover art was designed and created by Megan Schlabaugh and Abbie Miller.

 Staff members for 2008-09 included: Abbie Miller, Hannah Bartel, editors; Kate Derksen, Grael Miller, Kara Schlabaugh, Megan Schlabaugh, and Tiana Williams.
