Pork Supper a Success!

Practicing his lemonade pouring skills on ticket takers Maddie Miller, Shawna Borntrager, and Jesse Wenger was Zeke Nebel.

Christopher Perez and Kyle Brinning worked in tandem to refill drinks.

What a busy Saturday in the IMS gym! Although the Junior Class Pork Supper was served from 4:30-7:30 p.m., class members, parents, and sponsor Gloria Yoder kept busy throughout the day setting up, creating salads, organizing donations, and making sure everything would run smoothly.

Despite an evening home Iowa football game and lovely harvesting weather for the farmers, over 600 meals were served, many of them carry-out! The class netted approximately $5,000 which helps the class members pay for their senior trip to Washington DC.

The Junior class wishes to thank all who attended, donated, or otherwise helped make their Pork Supper a success.

Adding the finishing touch of whipped cream to Sally Hershberger’s pie was Zach Weiss

Wiping trays behind the scenes were Levi Schrock, Mischa De Jesus, and Maddie Marshall.

Also refilling lemonade was exchange student Turkan Hajiahmadova.

Ben Brenneman handed a roll to Jake Ropp.
