Volleyball coach Cindy Miller announces a new camp coming soon. All current 1st through 5th grade girls are invited to attend this camp to learn basic volleyball skills and to play developmental volleyball games.
The camp will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings on April 24th, April 26th, May 1st and May 3rd from 6:00 – 7:15 pm in the IMS gym.

Girls basketball camp for the fifth through eighth graders is going on during the mornings this week. Newly appointed IMS girls basketball coach Aaron Gingerich is directing the camp along with the IMS boys head coach Dwight Gingerich. The philosophy of the camp is to make every camper a better basketball player and person. The desire is to teach how to play the game with sound fundamentals and great effort and to challenge every player in all areas of their game.
Former IMS teacher and coach Ron Swartzendruber returned today to teach those fundamentals. It was great to have Ron back in the IMS gym and it is obvious that “he’s still got game!”

The IMS Volleyball Camp is set for August 2-5. Head Coach Dwight Gingerich will be managing the camp and will receive help from Tanna Boshart, IMS JV coach and Nicole Miller, IMS 9th grade coach. The times are as follows:
Entering grades 10-12 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Entering grades 8-9 12:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Entering grades 5-7 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
