Fall Prospective Student Day for 8th graders is Monday, November 28th. This is an important day for you to visit. It will give you a good idea of a typical school day at IMS, what classes we offer and an opportunity to meet current students and faculty. All of this is important information in processing your decision about where to attend high school.
Mid-Prairie and Washington school districts do not have school that day. If you attend another school district, you are welcome to come to Fall Prospective Student Day but you will have to miss a day of school. Most schools allow for this as long as you do your class work ahead of time. Check with your school to be sure.
If that day will not work for you to come, please contact Candi about coming another day you don’t have school…or plan to attend our next Prospective Student Day on February 20th when most school districts do not have school.
The day will begin at 8:00 with refreshments in the Celebration Hall lobby. Your parents are invited to a short informational meeting from 8:00—8:15 a.m. with Principal Tony Miller, Director of Enrollment Candi Schmieder, and Director of Development Larry Swartzendruber. Your day will be done at 3:10.
You are also welcome to bring a friend for Prospective Student Day. Please RSVP by Tuesday, November 22nd by calling the school or Candi or by emailing Candi so we can make plans for all students who want to come on the 28th.

Letters to Prospective Students were sent out Friday detailing upcoming events to showcase different aspects of school life at IMS. Passes to athletic and drama events were included as well. The first event is an ice cream social this Thursday, September 8th between the home JV & Varsity volleyball match. Bring your enthusiasm for IMS volleyball and your appetites to enjoy the ice cream treats and get to know other prospective students and our new director of enrollment, Candi Schmieder. If you don’t receive your letters and passes this week, please contact Candi to make sure you are on our mailing list.
