Our chapel theme this week was Freed. We worked with a variety of ways God has blessed us with freedom.

On Monday, Wes Furlong from Lancaster, PA spoke with us about being more free to respond to God and less tied to getting caught up in any drama or angst that might be around us with our peers.

Tuesday, we were in our small groups.

Wednesday’s chapel featured Emma Beachy, Rachael Hovde and Monet Slabach sharing about how they are free to express themselves and their worship of God through music, art and writing. We were challenged to be free to use the gifts that God has given us.

On Thursday we all had the opportunity to be freed from anxiety. Prayer is an antidote to anxiety, so we made bracelets of beads while we spent time praying and being quiet.

Friday’s chapel featured Aaron Fleming, pastor at New Life in Wellman. Aaron shared on freedom from financial debt and how communities of believers can help walk with persons who are struggling. He used the Biblical principles from the year of Jubliee to talk about this aspect of freedom.
