Chapel Wrap-Up {April 1-5}

Monday: A group of students and faculty presented another reader’s theater following up from the week before about Jesus’ resurrection, then the chapel committee planned an Easter Egg hunt as a final Easter activity. Students were dismissed to find an egg hidden somewhere in the school, only to realize there were no eggs to be found! Along with being an April Fools’ Joke, this also demonstrated how we sometimes feel the need to look high and low for Jesus, when in reality, he is with us all the time. Each student was given an egg with scripture and candy to help them remember this important truth about the real meaning of Easter.

Tuesday: In-Service (No Chapel)

Wednesday-Friday: Sharing from Interterm Experiences by several groups, reporting their activities and the ways they experienced God in new ways throughout their week away from school.

Anne Buckwalter talking about the interterm group to JEPUSA in Chicago.
