IMS served a tough 96%, only missing three serves all night with Casey Perez, Naomi Miller and Keilah Brokaw perfect from the serving line.  The defensive coverage shown on the court and out of system balls this team was able to recover was unbelievable.  Defensive digging has been the strongest part of The IMS game all season and it did effect the Belle
Plaine hitters for a while. Olivia Yutzy and Laura Hochstetler swung hard at the net but Cameo Pope, Belle Plaine’s middle blocker, was a big block and that caused trouble as the match progressed.  Coach Cindy Miller commented, “Even though we couldn’t pull off the win, I am so very proud of the effort by team displayed until that last point was scored.”
