IMS won the first regional game at Lone Tree in three games with scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-14. “Tonight was a great win for us because we were out of system and it is very hard to beat a team three times in a season,“ Coach Cindy Miller said. The responsibility of running the court was in Hannah Miller’s setting hands and she really came through for us.  “I was proud of the effort she gave and how calmly she took on her responsibilities.  I never lost faith in this team even when we were down by seven points in game two,” commented Miller.  These girls are tough competitors and know it is a team effort.  The team served a high 97% (only two missed serves all night) and stepped up our blocking at the net which also helped in our success.

IMS will play Keota at Lone Tree on Tuesday, October 23 at 7:00 pm.  IMS’ overall record is 19-14.
