One important goal for IMS language learners is to improve communication abilities in writing, reading and speaking. Speaking practice often occurs in small group settings or through diálogos which are short dialogues. Even though Spanish I students are new to the language, they were able to practice communicating by acting out a scenario involving Paco, his abuela and missing school supplies.
