IMS lost to Mediapolis 16-25, 15-25, 15-25 in a volleyball match Thursday night. The final scores don’t reflect the kind of hustle and heart the girls gave on the court.  Facing a #1 ranked 3A team is daunting but nobody told the girls and IMS showed up to play.  Ending the game with a team high 70 digs proves the girls were really on the move and how offensively strong Mediapolis really is.  “There were some very long rallies that we won just because we out-hustled them and never gave up.  This was one of those games back row players look forward to knowing what will come and it’s gonna be fast.  Our entire team stepped it up a notch and it was a definite moral victory,” Coach Cindy Miller commented.   First time starter middle hitter McKayla Brush held her own earning her first kill of the season.  Demi Brezina replaced an injured Keilah Brokaw and performed well under pressure.

IMS’ overall record is 4-6 and conference record is 1-1.  IMS will travel to Wilton for a tournament on Saturday again facing some tough teams.
