Child Development Students visited the Montessori School of Iowa City to get an idea of what Montessori education is all about.

Connie Guiberson, Head of School,  gave a short explanation of Montessori teaching methods and specific information about their school, allowing students to ask questions, then allowed time for observation in several classrooms. It was a good experience for students to see how learning can occur in different types of settings and was nice to see the ideas of Child Development theorist, Maria Montessori firsthand.
