IMS opened the conference volleyball season with a win over conference rival Lone Tree in three games, 25-16, 25-14, 25-11.  IMS’ record is now 2-2.

“This was a great win and conference opener for our team as expectations were high to come out strong and play at a level we believe we can attain throughout the season.  This group of girls has a tight team unity and I felt that reflected play on the court throughout the night.  I expected to see strong contributions offensively from Olivia Yutzy and Laura Hochstetler and was pleasantly pleased to see Anya Slabaugh and Hannah Miller deliver even more offensive punch.  None of our offense would be possible without our back row specialty players, Kristin Davis, Naomi Miller and Keilah Brokaw,” Coach Cindy Miller commented.
