IMS opened their volleyball season at Fairfield, playing Fairfield, Eddyville, and Albia. IMS lost to Fairfield 18-25, 21-25, lost to Eddyville 21-25, 15-25, and defeated Albia 25-19, 25-12.

Coach Cindy Miller said “I was impressed by my teams overall performance tonight.  We played three tough teams and were very happy to leave with one win even though we were in all the games.  We are building strong team unity and appreciate having experienced senior leadership on the court.”

Seniors Laura Hochstetler, Naomi Miller, and Keilah Brokaw were all perfect from the serving line. Team highlights: 95% team serving with 19 aces, 45 assists, 48 kills, 94 digs.
