If you look closely at the photographs, you will recognize the need for a new roof over portions of the IMS facilities.

The Operating Board has approved moving ahead on the project . . . as funds are available; it will begin on Monday, July 23 with the library roof the first to receive the upgrade.

Funding is happening. But more funding is needed.

To date, $25,830 has been contributed toward the goal of $64,000. To further encourage support, the board is offering a fresh salmon meal – tentatively scheduled for Friday, September 7 – to any couple or individual contributing a minimum of $400. Jim Miller (IMS class of 1980) is currently in Alaska – as he has been off and on for the past 30+ years – catching the supply.

It is a small token of our appreciation for your support.

Please contact Larry Swartzendruber or Tony Miller at the school for further information or simply send your donation to IMS with “Roofing Project” on the memo line.

Thanks, in advance, for your support
