IMS jumped out to a 4-0 lead after one inning Tuesday night in Riverside. IMS added two in the second and two in the third to make the score 8-2 after three innings of play. IMS went on to get one run in the fifth inning and one more run in the sixth to make the final score 10-2.

Cameron Gingerich pitched all seven innings earning the win on the mound. Aaron Ockenfels led IMS at the plate going three for four with two RBIs. Dallas Nye was two for four with a double and two runs scored. Christopher Perez had a hit and two runs. Cameron Gingerich had a two RBI single in the third inning. Nathan Peterson had two hits, scored two runs, and reached base four times. “We had a great approach at the plate tonight and hit the ball hard every inning,” said Coach Danny Hershberger.

IMS moves to 16-10 on the year and advances in district play to face Lisbon Thursday night at 7pm at Highland.
