West Branch got it going in the bottom of the first with a two run home run and never looked back.  They added a third run in the second, to make it a 3-0 game.  IMS stayed within striking distance with a run in the third to make it a 3-1 game after three innings of play.  West Branch got the bats going in the fourth to score seven runs, stretching their lead to nine.  They added a final run in the fifth inning to take the 11-1 win.

Laura Hochstetler and Keilah Brokaw each had a hit for IMS.  Naomi Miller had a run scored.
“We lost to a very good team.  We are looking forward to playing tomorrow against Pekin,” said coach Kim Wood.
With the loss IMS falls to 6-17 on the season, and next play Thursday at Pekin in the final regular season game of the year.
