Students in Culinary Arts class participated in the second annual Chili Cook-Off Wednesday. Students worked in groups and were required to research their chili recipe in advance, gather ingredients, prepare the chili and garnish their dish. Judges for the event were Karen Van de Walle, Dwight Gingerich, and Joe Swartzentruber. The student groups and results were: “Mama’s Chili” first place-Randy Ropp, Nathan Peters, and Zach Weiss; “Chili con Carne” second place-Kyle Brinning, Ben Brenneman, Matt Libby; “Chili de Amazing” a very close third place- Amber Davis, Shawa Borntrager, Jesse Shetler.
