IMS took to the road Tuesday, traveling to Letts to play Louisa-Muscatine, and came home with a convincing 84-40 win over the Falcons. Dallas Nye scored six, Joel Shetler had four, Dillon Bender dropped in a three, Justin Boller scored two points, and Reggie Hostetler added a free throw.
Coach Dwight Gingerich said “we did not play well early, and L-M deserves credit for some of that, but it was great to see our guys buckle down and step it up. It was also good to see guys come in and give us a boost off the bench. Justin Boller did that for us tonight and Johnny played really well for us at both ends. Dillon Bender also came in and played well and continues to show solid improvement.”
IMS goes to 10-2 in conference play, 11-3 overall and next plays at Wapello on Friday.
