IMS fell to Winfield Mt. Union Tuesday night 28-45. Winfield jumped out to an 11-2 first quarter lead, and IMS could never cut the lead below seven the rest of the way. IMS kept pace throughout the second and third quarters, making it a 19- 31 game at the end of three. Winfield started off the fourth quarter with a 13 to 2 run, ending the hopes of an IMS comeback.  

IMS was led by Olivia Yutzy, who finished with seven points, to go along with six rebounds and five steals. With the loss IMS falls to 0-2 on the season, while Winfield moves to 2-1.
IMS plays Friday at home against Pekin.
