Two of our five new employees this year moved from a distance to the area. Maya Kehr moved from the Newton, Kansas area to teach Spanish and Paul Kessler moved from the Grinnell area to teach Biology. To help them fill their cupboards the IMS faculty and staff decided to welcome them by bringing food and supplies.  This custom dates back to many years ago when the first PTO meeting of the year found IMS families bringing groceries to be divided among the new employees!

We welcome all five new employees to our IMS family! In addition to Paul and Maya, Nici Bontrager is our Food Service Assistant, Jane Schlabaugh is our Business teacher, and Candi Schmieder is our Director of Enrollment. You will be able to read more about them as we feature them on the web in the upcoming weeks.
