We will be running a 13-week ad campaign with a corresponding post on this Web site that will give a more in-depth explanation of the ad.  This post is a continuation of the ad that is appearing in weekend editions of the Iowa City Press-Citizen; click Week 1 Ad to view a pdf copy of the ad.

Iowa Mennonite School (IMS) is a small private Christian high school associated with the Mennonite Church. Our desire is to teach students how to live a life for Christ. Our teachers incorporate Christ’s teachings into daily lesson plans and assignments hoping students apply what they learn in the classroom to their walk with Christ. For those interested in learning more about the Mennonite Church you may click here for links and other information.

IMS has an enrollment of 128 students in grades 9-12.  A student to teacher ratio of 7:1 allows for valuable one-on-one time enabling equal attention to be given to the most gifted student and to a student who may struggle in the classroom.  The small class sizes also generate a community of support and accountability where students can flourish.

Despite being a small school our students have multiple opportunities to experience other cultures. IMS has numerous international students with whom students interact daily.  And because IMS is a small school students have a greater opportunity to participate in trips that are offered off campus and internationally.

Be watching next week for the new ad and post to see what else IMS has to offer.  If you have questions or would like more information on how to apply contact Chris Nachtigall at (319)656-2073 or e-mail chris.nachtigall@gmail.com.  You can also go to the Admissions page for more information.
